Pets are more than just animals. We bring them into our homes and they become part of the family, and each personality quirk becomes special in it's own right. That's why we call them our FurBabies.
As a pet portrait artist, I work in various styles to accommodate both my patron's tastes and the personalities of the pets I am portraying. I primarily work in acrylic paint and in sizes up to 8"x10" inches on paper or canvas, with the majority of my portraits created as ACEOS/Art Card Miniatures.
I do both traditional pet portraits, and the more quirky "character" style portraits. Ever wanted to see your dog as George Washington, or your Cat as Queen Elizabeth? Perhaps a pair as husband and wife or even Bonnie and Clyde old western style? (I call that old sepia tone look my "doggerotypes"...get it?...haha!) Those are the kind of challenges I love to take on!
Dogs, Cats, Birds, Rats and Lizards too...I do all pets! Except for maybe Sea Monkeys...
